Trying to recover from
another crashed HDD, went with a seagate 500gb 7200rpm, hopefully an improvement over my Western digital pos. If this doesn't work im going with a solid state, tired of having things fry all the time.
Anyways, last thing I uploaded before the failure was this nugget from newly reinstated Cradle Of Filth guitarist James McIlroy. In between Nymphetamine and Darkly Darkly... McIlroy made this little death outfit which reminds me a bit of an under-produced Behemoth. Feturing members of bands such as Akercocke, Trigger the Bloodshed, and Aosoth, this "super group" has a lot to prove but does it actually get there? The only gripe I personally have with the album is the music roaring over the vocals. Other than that this album really creates a great atmosphere.
Worth a listen by any regards, and a youtube link to preview, of course. Remember if you like the band, by the music!

Ritual is the upcoming fifth studio album by American heavy metal band The Black Dahlia Murder set to be released on June 17 in Europe and on June 21 in North America via Metal Blade Records.

Warmen is a Finnish metal band assembled by keyboard player Janne Viljami Wirman - also known as Warman. Janne has been playing with Children of Bodom since 1997, and on the year of 2000 created a musical project focused on instrumental work, which would only have guest singers on a few selected songs.
This is the latest album, pretty solid melodic power metal. Definitely a must for Bodom fans.

Unseen is the seventh studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band The Haunted.
Vocalist Peter Dolving has described the album as "Epic. Danceable. Groovy. And very very arty farty metal. With this next record we are going to be taking a piss in the general direction of all the crappy 99.9 percent of generic contemporary Mr. Goatse jerks out there".
If you ask me...this falls straight into that crappy category he mentioned. It sounds like the crappy metal from the 90s, which is odd cause I used to like the haunted. Maybe im missing something.

Periphery, formed in 2005, is an American metal band from Bethesda, Maryland. Formed by guitarist Misha Mansoor in 2005, he slowly gained a reputation on the internet for doing his own audio production, the majority of which was performed with a home computer and a Pod XT during this period. Between 2005 and 2009, Periphery worked with vocalists Jake Veredika, Casey Sabol and Chris Barretto, gradually moving from a Meshuggah-influenced sound to a more ambient, melodic sound, with a focus on innovative production. In 2009, the band announced via their MySpace blog that they had signed a one record deal with Sumerian Records, on which they would release their debut full-length album.

Metamorphosis is the sixth studio album by the Danish melodic death metal band Mercenary. This is the first album, except for their debut, First Breath, not to include the Sandager brothers, Mikkel on clean vocals and Morten on keyboards and Mike Park on drums since 11 Dreams. This is also the first album to feature Morten Løwe on drums. It will be released on February 25, 2011, under the label Napalm Records. The US version will be released on March 29 under the label Prosthetic Records, and will include one bonus track. The song "The Follower" was released on the band's YouTube channel on December 23rd, 2010, and the song "In a River of Madness" was released for streaming on the band's Facebook page on February 8th, 2011.

Grand Feast For Vultures is the follow-up to the previously uploaded Thrash Metal. As amazingly melodic and catchy as their previous effort, very recommended if you are into Speed Metal, Thrash or stuff that has Black Metal vocals yet is not Black Metal!

Thrash Metal was released in 2007 by the Norwegian band Blood Tsunami. I am not sure of what your thoughts are about "Re-thrash", "Retro Thrash", or however it is called now, but personally, I think it has it's ups and downs. Sure, it sucks when a band limits it's creativity by playing only Thrash, with all of the other genres that are availably to blend in nowadays, yet I do believe there are some gems inside the genre, which do play with other genres, such as Municipal Waste, or Blood Tsunami, or those who are simply head-bangingly great like Bonded By Blood.
Blood Tsunami blendS in some Thrash Metal, NWOBHM, Black Metal, and a fuck-ton of melody and instrumental proficiency. And it sounds exactly as awesome as it looks on paper, even including a 10 minutes long instrumental track. Worth noting is that Emperor's drummer handles the drumming on this album, and the vocals are done by the Norwegian MTV's Headbanger's Ball host.

Neuraxis is a Canadian technical/melodic death metal band. It was formed in Montreal in 1994 by Steven Henry, Yan Thiel and Felipe Angel Quinzanos. They have released five studio albums.
In 2007, the band participated in the Domination Tour with Rotting Christ, Incantation and Malevolent Creation. After touring, the band released a live album entitled Live Progression. Neuraxis is currently participating in the Montreal Assault Tour with Despised Icon, Beneath The Massacre, Carnifex and Plasmarifle to promote their latest album The Thin Line Between. As of July 2009, there are no remaining founding members of Neuraxis still in the band. The band will release their sixth album "Asylon" on February 15, 2011.

Formed in 1995, the german Death Metal outfit Night in Gales has steadily grown up to be a force to be reckoned with. After The Burial is an American heavy metal band from Twin Cities, Minnesota. Formed in 2004, the group released their latest album, In Dreams on November 23rd 2010 under Sumerian Records. Their first album entitled Forging a Future Self was released in 2006 under their own label, they would later be signed to Sumerian for the release of their second album entitled Rareform in 2008. In 2009, Sumerian released a re-recorded version of Rareform using live drums and their new vocalist: Anthony Notarmaso.
