Bad Luck is the 3rd studio album by Mathcore/Grindcore/Hardcore trio Ed Gein.
Despite this being long-awaited and in production for some time, it's a lot....less complex than you'd expect. Their earlier stuff was chaotic, time signature crazy grindcore pretty much.
This new album is like a hardcore band on steriods, played on fast forward. I still love it, it's excellent! But if you're a fan of the 'old' Ed Gein, you may be disappointed, you silly bastard.

War from a Harlots Mouth is a German metalcore band from Berlin, formed in 2005. Consisting of vocalist Nico, guitarists Simon and Daniel, bassist Filip, and drummer Paul, the band is noted for a distinct musical style consisting of infusing many different genres into their songs, such as math metal, death metal, and jazz.

The Fall of Troy was an American rock trio from Mukilteo, Washington. The trio consisted of Thomas Erak (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Andrew Forsman (drums, percussion) and Frank Ene (bass, backing vocals)
The trio was characterized by a technical, intricate style, known for Erak's sporadic guitar riffs and their alternation between clean vocals and harsh screams. Over the course of their career of about eight years, the group has released four full-length albums, one EP, and one single. Prior to The Fall of Troy's formation, when each member was about 17 years old, all three founding members were in another group named The 30 Years War, who released two EPs.

Sorry for not posting lately, but I have been busy with some College stuff. This should make up for it though.
Anyway, I am fucking pissed off right now. Which makes it the perfect moment to give you guys this kind of record. Converge's Axe To Fall sounds like the Mathcore soundtrack to being fucking pissed off. If you like Mathcore, Metallic Hardcore, Technical, Noisy things, or just stuff that will crush you, this is the record for you.

Greber is a band from Ontario, Canada, whose debut album was released last year through their bandcamp. Greber is formed by bassist Marc Bourgon from the infamous Grindcore band Fuck The Facts and drummer Steve Vargas from the band The Great Sabatini.
The quality that characterizes Greber the most is, as you may notice, their lack of guitars. Even though some tracks do feature some sparse guitar work, what we will find here is some blunt, heavy and nasty bass-n-drum grindcore. However, do not just "meh" at it before you listen, as you are going to have an incredible surprise at the sound that this great duo achieves with just that. The fact that it's only the bass doing leads gives it a sort of Mathcore-y feeling which serves their sound in just the right way, and you'd be surprised at all oft eh different works that Marc can do, from the melancholy of songs like The Saddest Joke Ever Told to raw and bare sound of the pure grindcore piece Bullfighting Accident.
So yeah, amazing grindcore band featuring only bass, drums, and vocals. Great stuff, very recommended if you are into this sort of thing or are simply curious to see how this works out.

Ion Dissonance is a Canadian mathcore/deathcore band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They're known for their technical mathcore style but changed to a more heavy, groove based style with the release of their 2007 album Minus the Herd.

Rolo Tomassi are a experimental metal band from Sheffield, England. Their name is taken from the fictional character Rollo Tomasi in the film LA Confidential. The band formed in 2005 and set their local scene alight by playing a synth driven technical mix of styles and genres difficult to define in a single word.

The Arusha Accord are an experimental/progressive heavy metal band from Reading, Berkshire, who took their name from an agreement aimed at ending the Rwandan Civil War. They combine the technical elements of math metal, brutal screams of the deathcore genre, and jazz timings. The band have received comparisons to Sikth and Dillinger Escape Plan.

Botch was a mathcore/metalcore band from Tacoma, Washington, that formed in 1993 and disbanded in 2002. With members forming bands such as: Russian Circles, Narrows, Minus The Bear, These Arms Are Snakes.

Option Paralysis is to be the fourth full-length studio album by American mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan, to be released on March 23, 2010. After having fulfilled their contract with Relapse Records (and reportedly dissatisfied with Relapse's handling of their previous album, Ire Works), the band will release the album through Party Smasher Inc., their own new label in collaboration with French record label Season of Mist.
