Erotic Suicide Discography

Erotic Suicide was formed in late 1993. Their first album entitled “ Abusement Park” was released in 1994 and it established the band as a driving force in energetic rock music. The band began playing shows to support “Abusement Park” and have played in support of such acts as Ugly Kid Joe, Jackyl, Ace Frehley, Bang Tango, and Vince Neil. In 1996, Erotic Suicide self financed a video for “ Can’t Remember” , which was mentioned on MTV Europe Headbangers ball by Vanessa Warwick. In the beginning of 1998, the band began work on their sophomore effort entitled “Perseverance’, and the result was a much more mature outing encompassing 14 well written songs. Initial sales have proved promising and the power of the internet has built this dedicated band a diverse following worldwide.

I'm sure if these guys started up ten years earlier, they would of been much more successful.

Tesla Discography

Tesla is a great rock band that were really big in the 80's. Odds are if you listen to classic rock radio you've heard a number of their singles; "Signs," "Call It What You Want," "Song & Emotion," and "What You Give" all had serious airplay in the late 80's/early 90's. I grew up with my dad blasting their best two albums (in my opinion): The Great Radio Controversy and Psychotic Supper, with the latter being a favorite of mine.
Tesla is also known as being a transition band from glam to grunge. They play a style of hard rock/glam that was big in the time, but they don't dress in wigs or wear make-up. Instead they would go on stage in jeans and t-shirts, a style that was big in the 'non-commercial' grunge era. They are also known for popularizing unplugged albums, with their hugely popular Five Man Acoustical Jam LP. While they didn't invent unplugged shows, with the success of this album came a whole wave of unplugged and acoustic albums in the 90's - a trend that (while not as big) continues to this day.

Their best albums, for those who aren't big fans, are Psychotic Supper, The Great Radio Controversy, and Real to Reel.

Evil Metal Covers (75 Discs)

Ok folks, as you may have noticed I have been absent from Angrychairs recently. This is due in part to work dominating my life, but also to this mega-mega-post I had planned. It took me days to get all the albums, and days more to organize them all with correct titles and bands, but I have done it! 75 albums of nothing but metal covers! But I cannot take all the credit, someone somewhere complied these albums - under the moniker of Evil Ultimate Metal Covers - and for that I am immensely grateful.

These 75 discs are filled with bands from all metal genres covering songs from classic metal bands, and several un-metal bands, now with a metal twist. I already had a bunch of these covers (nowhere close to the 1240 tracks in this collection), so I'm sure many of these will be repeats for some of you out there. I have never heard of a lot of the songs being covered, and even less of the bands covering these songs, but I am intrigued with the entire thing.

There is no real album artwork for these albums (being unofficial compilations), but if you google 'Evil Ultimate Metal Covers' you can find different sites with different album artwork created. Some of it is kind of neat.

Gunfire 76

Gunfire 76 is new project of Joseph Poole, better known as Wednesday 13. Gunfire 76 is glam rock band formed in North Carolina, USA in 2009. Poole teamed up with Todd Youth (of the The Chelsea Smiles) to write and record a CD with, as Poole has mentioned in interviews, a more of a rock sound and without any horror themes, under the new band name; Gunfire 76.

Sister

Sister were an American heavy metal band, formed in 1976 in Los Angeles. Its members included Blackie Lawless, formerly of the New York Dolls and later of W.A.S.P., and Nikki Sixx, who would later co-create Mötley Crüe. They are notable for being one of the first bands to make usage of the pentagram and other occult symbols. Due to the late 70's music scene, and personal differences, they never achieved success and broke up sometime in 1978.

The quality of this is pretty rough, but for fans of Crue or W.A.S.P its a nice little gem.

Released in 2007, Monster Ballads Xmas (also referred to as Monster Ballads Christmas) is the fourth in a series of compilation albums that features popular 80s rock bands, usually from the glam metal genre. This is the first in the series to feature a holiday theme – and the first to feature newly-recorded songs. The idea for the album came about due in part by Twisted Sister's surprising 2006 album success—A Twisted Christmas. Both albums were released by the Razor & Tie label and Twister Sister member Jay Jay French produced this album.
