The Bad Kid does it once again with Volumes 3 & 4 of the Beat Konducta Series, BK in India. Being a fan of the first two volumes of BK, Movie Scenes, bet that I'm certainly going to be picking this one up. I've already heard a few snippets courtesy of Madlib's MySpace and the gang at Beatkids. As you can imagine, it's that unique Madlib sound with heavy Indian influences. Thick, chunky, groovin', hype, super compressed, and all soul. As with the first two volumes, this one is also a full instrumental volume, but retains tinges of a concept album merely by story the beats tell. While I may not be a fan of everything, the man definitely is consistent when it comes to quality music, and he's a powerhouse about that shit too, hella prolific. Peep the tracklist, enjoy these two bits, and check the rest on Madlib's MySpace.
