Nice Wings, Icarus

Nice Wings Icarus! is a five-piece Ukranian band formed in February 2008 in Kiev. They combine heavy guitar riffs with melodic violin play. They shape their material during 2009, bearing influences from Tool, Envy, Isis, Pelican and some other bands, but never imitating someone’s manner or sound. Neither post-rock nor post-metal, NWI! exist somewhere in between, adding some quirky math-rock overtones and a classy violin-driven progressive rock signature to their sound.

You may be asking yourself, why is Tim posting a post metal album, isnt that Jakes thing?? While im not the biggest fan of this genre, the addition of the violin gives this an amazing sound. Its great chill out music.
