Blah Blah Blah... No Doubt...

Posted by admin on Tuesday, September 4, 2007

.com/blogger_img_proxy/Blahzay Blahzay. In my opinion, was one of the more underrated groups of the '90s, that hordes of people slept on. When I gave Sean P's new one a listen and I saw the lead track was produced by P.F. Cuttin', it instantly reminded me how slick his beats were. Cat was sounding sick as ever on Jesus Price Supastar as he was on Blah Blah Blah.com/blogger_img_proxy/. The era and also his style had a certain quality about it when it came to those dark and twisted beats. They just had a swagger to them that you wanted to roll with and P.F. hit it right on the head. Similar to that grit that Muggs had throughout those first few Cypress Hill albums. Don't get me wrong, Danger and the Primo remix were dope and all, but Good Cop, Bad Cop is on some other shit. The track hits so hard that your neck will just about snap off, and Outloud's verses paint a perfect picture. You don't hear much of that anymore. Check it out.

And as an aside, I swear that's ODB on the sample in Danger and I know I've heard the original, but no where is there credit. On the other hand, Jeru is all over the video and credits. Am I trippin'?
