Soilwork, who formed in 1995, are a melodic death metal band from Helsingborg, Sweden. Their earlier sound is that of classic Gothenburg metal, while their most recent work incorporates more singing and lighter melodies. After seven full-length releases, the band returned to the studio in early 2010 to write and record their eighth album, "The Panic Broadcast".
