Hammers of Misfortune is a Progressive metal band from San Francisco, California. Their sound incorporates various elements of folk metal, doom metal and power metal. It's the main project of John Cobbett, also guitarist of Ludicra. The original lineup consisted of members of L7, GWAR, Malefice (Washington D.C.), The Lord Weird Slough Feg and the aforementioned Ludicra.
