Fall back as one of the godfathers of the mix (flawless mixing, I'm telling you) as he destroys the venue at the J-Tek Records launch party ( Hypa! Hypa! Hypa! ). J-Tek, the new label from Randall, Outrage, and Digital promises to bring back the pumping and uplifting sounds of jungle tekno.
Having already heard some of the first few releases on the J-Tek MySpace, I'm really excited for what this label has coming. One of the most refreshing aspects of this endeavor is that it's that slow tempo vintage sound, with a fresh twist and the benefits of modern production tools and techniques. Look, you have the same funk, but it sounds clean as fuck -- and that's good.
Don't sleep on Randall, or any of the music on J-Tek. Seriously.
