One of the original creators of Hip Hop, Kool Herc, brings forth a superbly crafted snapshot of some of the productions, remixes, and unreleased bits of one of the industries best story tellers, Biggie. I'm not entirely sure where I scooped this one up, but it was one of those gems that finally made it to my playlist after inhabiting a corner of some folder on my hard drive. Some of the work on this set is pure gold coming from one of the first turntable masters and soundsystem DJs to grace the business.
The quality of these is not pristine, so you have that crunchy lo-fi tape feel as side A & B would indicate.
