Here's a little bit of real Hip Hop to tip the scales the other way.
I remember '89 bumpin' this on the boombox. Play that Big Daddy Kane tape and it was all good. A master of wordplay and hella nice on the mic. Prime example of laying down consistent and penetrating rhymes without being all loud and sloppy. Cat was nice! It was all about the rope chains and the 4-finger rings.
