311 Discography

311 (pronounced three eleven) is an American rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. The band met at Westside High School and formed in 1988. Since their self-titled album in 1995, all of their studio albums have peaked in the top 15 of the Billboard Top 200


Side note, I think this band is very overrated. They were the 'It' band while I was in highschool and I couldn't get on board. Although most of their albums are one word, which makes posting this list very easy.


If you all hadn't noticed, I'm attempting to work through my entire discography, from #-Z, uploading anything rock/metal, or interesting that I have. Today is all about the numbers, and I'm currently uploading the A's, which I hope to get to tomorrow. I probably will never finish this, but I figured it was worth a shot right? Some artists that begin with a number or a letter may not show up till I hit 'T' because of all the 'The' acts. My computer has it all alphabetically, so be patient.

illScarlett Discography

IllScarlett (styled as illScarlett) (pronounced /ˌɪlˈskɑrlɨt/) is a four-member band from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Their sound can be defined as pop infused rock reggae. They have made a name for themselves in the Canadian music scene and are making their name known throughout the United States and around the world. Their most prominent influence is California-based band Sublime. The band found their break when they decided to play outside the 2004 Vans Warped Tour venue in front of fans waiting in line to get in. Kevin Lyman, the Warped Tour organizer and co-owner of Warcon Enterprises, noticed them and invited them to play at his personal barbecue. Subsequently, they were offered spots on the tour for the following two years.

These guys came from a couple streets over from where I live, crazy to see how popular/famous they have now become.

Sublime Discography

Sublime was an American reggae fusion band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988. The band's line-up, unchanged until their breakup, consisted of Bradley Nowell (vocals and guitar), Bud Gaugh (drums and percussion), and Eric Wilson (bass guitar). Michael "Miguel" Happoldt also contributed on a few Sublime songs, such as "New Thrash." Lou Dog, Nowell's dalmatian, was the mascot of the band. Nowell died of a heroin overdose in 1996 and Sublime immediately split up.

Sublime is one of those 'classic' college bands. I cannot believe that anyone could finish highschool or college without hearing a fair amount of their works.

Lionize Discography

The Klepto already posted Space Pope over here. Thanks to an awesome french guy named Cyril (really hope thats your name) I now have their other work to post.

Lionize - Space Pope and the Glass Machine

As fellow stoner-lover Karl Steel reminded me, I forgot another (and last I assume) side-project of the boys from Clutch: Lionize, the funk/reggae/stoner hybrid.
Unfortunately I only can find the one album, Space Pope and the Glass Machine. I know they have at least one other and an EP or two. If you happen to have them, I'd be eternally greatfull.

Scorcese On Bob Marley

Exciting news as one of the film industry's best serves his takes on one of the music industry's finest:

Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese has signed on to develop a full-length documentary on the life of the late legendary reggae musician-songwriter Bob Marley.

In addition to Scorsese, the project will gain support from multi-millionaire Steve Bing’s Shangri-La Entertainment and international sales agent Fortissimo Films.

The documentary, having already received permission from the Marley family, will also have direct input and support from Marley’s son, Ziggy. He will take on the role as one of the executive producers of the project.

“I am thrilled that the Marley family will finally have the opportunity to document our father’s legacy and are truly honored to have Mr. Scorsese guide the journey,” Ziggy said.
