Cinema Strange Discography

Posted by admin on Sunday, November 14, 2010

Cinema Strange is an American deathrock group based in Los Angeles, California. Their performances also incorporate film, dance, and visual art.
The California-based Cinema Strange Project made headlines around the world this past February when they completed a 1/20th scale model of Big Ben using toothpicks, fly legs, and fingernail clippings. The unpredictable ensemble commented, “We’ve played music in Europe a bunch of times, we’ve made films about zombies and dancing military men, and we made our last album like a story book. The Big Ben model was a logical next step.” The band is infamous in the North American gothic scene for their unique and theatrical stage shows, sometimes involving up to a dozen or more actors and performance artists.

Hour Of The Wolf, hailing from Prescott, Arizona, draw comparisons to the raw bitterness of Black Flag to the rock & roll solo’s of Motorhead. The band builds on these attributes, and is proving to be an unstoppable machine. Hour Of The Wolf is quickly establishing themselves, already having tours under their belts along with their albums Power Of The Wolf (2006), Waste Makes Waste (2007) and their latest release Obsolete (2009), making them one of the most promising punk bands in the country.

Can't leave this one left out!

Samhain was an American rock band formed by singer Glenn Danzig in 1983, immediately following his departure from The Misfits. Samhain played in more of a death rock- and heavy metal-infused style of horror punk than Danzig's previous band. By 1987 Samhain's membership evolved into a new band, Danzig.

45 Grave Discography

Posted by admin on Wednesday, October 21, 2009

45 Grave, (also known as .45 Grave) is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1979. They are associated with horror punk, deathrock and goth rock. The original group broke up in 1985 but vocalist Dinah Cancer subsequently revived the band. 45 Grave's musical style is punk rock with a darker edge/horror movie aesthetic, and hence is representative of the genre deathrock/horror-punk. Keyboards are used to create an electric organ sound which adds to the 'spooky' atmosphere of many songs. High-pitched female vocals are usually used but the whole band provide backing vocals and occasionally lead vocals.
