Nope not the University of British Colombia, here is Long Island rap group The UBC, producer CaeLove, DJ D-Nasty, The Blitz and rapper 'E-Ski Spectacular Show'. I copped this for 5 bucks last week and figured I'd drop this in a high quality rip for anybody that wants it.The album dropped on EMI in 1990 but these tracks were originally conceived in 1987 when the group was signed to the First Priority label; I could see how they would fit with that whole Kings Of Swing, Alliance, Pos-K style. This album is pretty good, E-Spectac is particularly nice of the mic, he was in the original line up of Leaders Of The New School until a beef with Charlie Brown caused him to split with the group and join The UBC. I am still no closer to understanding what UBC stands for by the way, maybe somebody can figure it out for me.
