Enos is another find from Chief Iron Lung Presents, and another album you can get for free from the band's website. Also while there you can pick up the band's comic book, kinda neat.
They play a stoner/doom blend with a splash of sludge thrown in. The story is supposed to be about Enos, the last chimp NASA sent into space, but the vocals are pretty raw so I really am not getting any of the story. While the vocals aren't really my bag, the music is. It's very stoner/doom, and full of grooves. The album is more of an EP then anything, coming in with 5 tracks at around 35 minutes. As you could probably guess the songs are long, and the music takes most of the time. Not much for vocals and I like it that way.
