Fresh Ski & Mo Rock Exclusive

In the immortal words of Westwood; it's time for some UK pressure. I'm dropping a world premier exclusive of an unreleased EP from North London's Fresh Ski & Mo Rock.

I can't even remember how I got into an email exchange with Mo Rock about unreleased gems, he ended up MIA in Columbia and I thought nothing of it..A couple months later a collection of tracks hits my email box.

SICK golden era production, sharp, rhythmic rap flows with messages and punchlines. I couldn't wait to compile and master what would have been an EP called 'The Coarse Selectors'. The record never happened, after their '88 debut, Ski & Mo didn't resurface on wax again until '91.

These guys were tight, with a sound so real and raw this should be considered a lost classic on both sides of the atlantic. Check it out...

As an added bonus here is Fresh Ski & Mo Rock's other releases. 'Talking Pays' 12" from Tuff Groove records in '88 and 'The Long Awaited Paroxysm EP' on the Conscious Music label in '91. I'd recommend this for any no joke Hip Hop fan.
