If you don't know, Mike Slott. I knew the name sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it right away. Although, when I checked the MySpace and I saw Hud Mo & HOC, I remembered my brother, Salva, dropped them on me while on hiatus in San Fran.
This is my kind of shit right here; forward-thinking, yet not too far out there to alienate the average listener. Big kicks, rhodsey flavor, and a little tinge of Detroit for that synthy edge. Love it. It's like the IDM scene of the late 90's finally got a good hold on the infusion of funk.
