It's amazing what has been accomplished with DSP thus far, but this will blow your mind. I was checking this out this weekend with one of the crew. From the people who created the first version of the Melodyne plugin, which makes monophonic sample tuning a breeze, comes the polyphonic version.
What's that mean?
Now you can apply that same tuning manipulation to chords, allowing you to actually break apart recorded chords and create new melodies/harmonies. When you look at this video and realize how ridiculous this is and what it could mean for music production in the future -- it's bananas, absolutely bananas.
