The legendary Juice Crew will be the focus of a new biopic detailing the Queens-based crew's inception and subsequent rise. Titled The Vapors, and directed by Furqaan Clover, the film will begin production in Jan 2008. The Juice Crew was the starting point for the likes of Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shante, MC Shan, G Rap and Masta Ace.
I've always been a fan of retrospective looks into history, and if it all works out, this should have an equally strong cultural impact as Charlie Ahearn's Wild Style did.
