I've been locked the fuck up (no arrest) for the past few days, so I haven't been able to get y'all the goods that have been occupying my ear holes. Check this hot shit out.
Vicious Circle, which I'm convinced is a product of maaaany years of listening to Usual Suspects, had slapped together this serious mix of classic and upfront material for DOA's feature mix series. I've always kept an eye on their live mixes from their sets at the Renegade Hardware jams at The End, and the tracklistings have always been nice like this one. Always loaded with the hot new material, and punctuated with classics. Bring that to a studio mix setting with nice levels and no noisy emcees over the top, and oh yes, I'm down.
Not only is this a crew of great producers that make some of the most proper dark rollers around, they're slick DJs, and certainly know their history and track selection. Do yourself a favor, slap some headphones on, and immerse yourself in this mix. I'll bold some of the required classics listening. Infact, I think I saw Dreamworld on there and my brain went... Oh damn... then I saw Friday, Metropolis and To Shape The Future Remix and thought... Oh damn.
