Angel of Damnation

Angel Of Damnation is a German doom metal band in which we find singer Gerrit Mutz, who calls himself Doomcult Messiah here, of the bands Sacred Steel and Dawn Of Winter. Together with Avenger and Hellbastard, who have a past together in the bands Nocturnal and Front Beast, Mutz formed Angel Of Damnation in 2004. Up till now they only released two 7” EP’s of which the last one is a split with Don Juan Matus. Now a full-length has been released on which we can hear six songs inspired by the founding fathers of the genre. You will hear influences of Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Pentagram and Witchfinder General. Production wise this album sounds really authentic too.
