Bearstorm

I checked this band out purely on the name when my imagination showed me a horrendous storm in which bears rained from the sky to create hell on earth. Turns out the music is almost as good as that picture. Playing a progressive style of death metal it tales an epic tale and is worth checking out, grab it from me or get it for free off of their bandcamp while showing them some support.

The four chapters tell the ancient story of a thief banished from his village for desecration. He seeks the help of Baba Yaga, but the price is his life. His corpse wakes, just in time for his skin to burst as a bear comes forth. As he devours his own flesh to free his new form, his only thoughts are of revenge. Brutal revenge is taken, but the Great Lady returns for the remainder of what she is owed.
