Ava Inferi have been around a few years, and the band members themselves have been around. The lead vocalist was part of the choir for Moonspell during the Night Eternal recording and tour, which makes plenty of sense seeing as both bands are from Portugal. Blasphemer makes another appearance this week (this makes the third band I've posted in a week with him in it), and his tones again greatly complement the atmosphere. But the music itself is a style of doom that mixes well with melodic and gothic overtones. Early works sound much 'doomier'.
