Second full-length album from these guys. Older material reminds me more of a hi-fi Xasthur, but this album really attempts to bring melancholy into a better place, by actually having melodies and a large atmosphere crating a truly unique setting for songs. With Austere split up, this band seems to be one of the better black metal bands from Australia (aside from swarth, abyssic hate, nazxul, reverend kriss hades, etc. :P) Really great album for fans of Austere, FEN, Agalloch, Drudkh, etc. Remember: love the album? support the band!
