While other bands are out there pretending to be things they really aren't, TYS is busy developing their signature hybrid style of pummeling, groovy, technical metal. The Yellow Sign's EP "Ancient" is consisting of 5 tracks that seem more like a complete album. Smooth transitions carry the listener through vast soundscapes and cover an amount of terrain that similar bands couldn't cover in an entire catalog of albums. These guys know how to groove. The hard-hitting snare blasts, chunked-out guitar sluggage, concrete-cracking low end devastation and furiously pissed off vocals would make you think these guys are seasoned veterans of the underground metal scene - however, The Yellow Sign are just getting started.”
