Slice The Cake

Slice The Cake formed in early 2009 by guitarist/producer Jonas Johansson (Sweden) and vocalist Gareth Edwards (England). The lineup was completed in late 2009 with the addition of bassist and composer, Jack Richardson (Australia). The band began work on writing a full release, taking influences from death metal and hardcore while mixing in orchestral elements, as well as a more technical and melodic approach to song writing. With song writing taking place in three different countries before being recording by each of the members, their debut EP, "Cleansed" (2010), shows a group of musicians intent on making something that will stand out from the crowd.
