Inspired by Se16's request in the cbox I figured I'd throw these early Hijack 12"s up.
Brixton's 'Terrorist Group' were the rawest rap crew the UK ever produced. The respect they earned around Europe caught the attention of Ice T who signed them to his Warner Bros subsidiary Rhyme Syndicate Records. A remarkable feat for an independent rap group outside America.
The older I get the more I realize the late 80's really was a perfect moment for Hip Hop and its development. I'd put Hijack's first two records over almost every other rap acts entire catalog.
