I'm dropping a world premier exclusive of an unreleased EP from North London's Fresh Ski & Mo Rock.I can't even remember how I got into an email exchange with Mo Rock about unreleased gems, he ended up MIA in Columbia and I thought nothing of it..A couple months later a collection of tracks hits my email box.
SICK golden era production, sharp, rhythmic rap flows with messages and punchlines. I couldn't wait to compile and master what would have been an EP called 'The Coarse Selectors'. The record never happened, after their '88 debut, Ski & Mo didn't resurface on wax again until '91.
These guys were tight, with a sound so real and raw this should be considered a lost classic on both sides of the atlantic. Check it out...
