So I've been doing a lot of listening lately. Mainly because I've been running around like a fool in my daily grind. Peace to AaronM who definitely knows that score once the semester kicks up. Needless to say, the playlist has been jam packed with classic and fresh flavors pumping through the comfy Coosh earbuds that the homey Shawn was generous enough to sort me out with. Look out for the full review coming soon, but hear me now -- the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn. I've been sporting them for hours on end over the past two weeks, and no kind of pain, whatsoever. Godsend business, serious, and I ain't lyin'.
However, the point of this post is Prince Paul. Never ceasing to amaze, I'm hitting you off with two joints of his Hip Hop Goldust album which compiles a gangload of unreleased flavors. Well, sorta unreleased.
Always a fan of the Biz and Chubb Rock, which is truly unreleased. Although this collab with Last Emperor, The Monolith actually did see release on Rawkus but the press was wack and the fidelity suffered, badly. Peep the bonus from Prince Among Thieves for definitive evidence of just how ill Price Paul can get. Real heads know the deal, but Paul is a huge influence over here.
